The ring was made from a special palladium and white gold alloy, which, at 14 karat fineness is ideal in terms of colour and resistance to chemical corrosion or tarnish compared to 18 karat white gold. This alloy is known for its hypo-allergenic quality, clear non-yellow colour and that it allows for a very secure setting for the stones.

This stunning ring features a larger, premium quality, cushion cut amethyst at its center and delicate brilliant cut diamond details for added glamour and elegance.  

Inspiration

Ancient Greeks believed that amethyst defended its owner against drunkenness and intoxication. Thus it was customary to carve drinking vessels and other amulets and jewels from amethyst. This ancient tradition is also the source of this stunning cocktail ring name.
